Out with the Old…
Yeah, you know the rest. In with the new.
Cookieaisle.com may look a little different when you visit. I’m working out a new look so I’m trying out new templates. The “chocolate chip” design has been around for three years and being a web designer, it’s time for a change.
I’ve been making changes all around me, especially in the house. Some of my changes at home are so I can get organized enough to write. Watching too much HGTV can also make one anxious for changes around the house. Painting and purchasing new carpet are probably not good ideas, so I’ll settle on changing the blog design.
I’m closing down Cookie Mix, the blog I started last year. Instead, this blog will have more updates from my writing adventures. Prayerfully, 2008 will be the year I actually complete a manuscript. I have three unfinished fiction projects, which is not cool.
On a mailing list this week, the moderator asked us to post our goals. Here are my writing goals…
1) Complete final draft of When Rain Falls (Women’s Fiction) – March 1st
2) This Spring enter 2-3 contests
3) Send queries to at least 5 publishers and/or agents
4) Finish writing and complete final draft for Trouble Cometh (Cozy Mystery) – August 1st
5) Attend Faith and Fiction Retreat in Destin, FL – August 14-17 (http://www.faithandfictionretreat.com/)
6) Attend ACFW Conference in September (will pitch one or both completed manuscripts)
Stay tuned for my progress!

Happy New Year to you and your Ty! The new Cookie Aisle is GORGEOUS! But then I love your style anyway. Thanks for the invitation to stop by and leave a comment here with you.
Blessings always,

Ty, the new design is brilliant!
I’m really looking forward to reading the Through the Storm Series. I’ve only read the little bit you are sharing here. That little bit has left me wanting more. I cannot wait until it is released. Hugs. And thanks for everything.
